NSBW14 | Tina Ramchandani of Life in Sketch + Tina Ramchandani Creative

Hooray for small businesses! Throughout the week we will be featuring small businesses that are doing big things. There are so many small businesses out there that it would be impossible to share and promote all of them, so if you have a favorite [or your own] that you’d like to share, please do so in the comments, via email or on social media via Twitter and Facebook. We’d love to add to our list of small businesses to feature going forward, after all, Constellation, ETC is all about building connections with [and for] go-getter entrepreneurs everywhere.

1. Tell us a little about your business? (Why did you start, how long have you been doing it? etc)
I’m an interior designer and a blogger. A little over three years ago I founded the design-focused blog Life in Sketch, and approximately a year ago I launched my own interior design firm, Tina Ramchandani Creative. I’ve worked under several top designers, including Vicente Wolf for about five years. I was excited to focus my own brand and felt it was the right time to branch out on my own. I had a lot of support, which I’m very thankful for!
2. What big things are happening for your business in 2014?
Interior design is a wonderful industry. You get to see actual results at the end of a project, which for me, makes it all worth it. I love seeing my client’s reactions to the homes I create for them. This year we are completing a few homes we’ve been working on since our launch. It’s going to be an exciting year, seeing these spaces come together.
3. Do you work with other businesses? How can people work with you?
I work with a variety of businesses in order to complete these spaces – contractors, furniture designers and vendors, textile vendors. I’m always looking for people who create interesting things that I can share with my clients.
4. How can people find you?
You can find me at tinaramchandani.com and my blog is lifeinsketch.com. I’m also on FacebookTwitterInstagram,Pinterest and Google Plus.
